The West Indies’ last-wicket partnership provided some respite, adding 46 runs to the total. Before that, Motie also showcased his skills with a handy 19. The innings started poorly, with Sajid ripping through the top order, claiming the first four wickets and coming close to a hat-trick, aided by some sharp catching.
Noman then took over, continuing the damage until Sinclair’s arrival brought some resistance. The West Indies lower-order displayed intent and attacking cricket, salvaging what initially looked like a disastrous innings to finish at 137.
Despite this recovery, Pakistan still holds a strong advantage with a healthy lead on a tricky pitch. They will now aim to post at least 250 runs to strengthen their position for a win. Once again, the spinners dominated, with Sajid and Noman taking all 10 wickets for Pakistan.
